Bishop Jimmy Waddell

Bishop Dr. Jimmy L. Waddell is the Senior Pastor and founder of The Harvest House Ministries. He has a mandate to build up God's people and create leaders who will transform the world. He speaks to the heart of man with a message that is innovative and persuasive to motivate God's people into living a victorious life in Christ Jesus. In concurrence with the message of Paul, he conveys a life changing concept that we are more than conquerors; simply declaring that we are equipped by God to be undefeated by the enemy.

Born and raised in Spartanburg, SC, Bishop Waddell entertained a lifestyle that would briefly deter him from his true purpose in which he was called. But God intervened with His greater plan and changed his course of direction in life. After serving in the armed forces for three (3) years, Bishop Waddell returned home with a positive perspective of his future and eventually surrendered his life to Jesus.

In 1991, Bishop Waddell accepted his call of Pastoring with a vision that far exceeded the traditional church setting of man. With only six (6) members, he birthed the ministry originally as Emmanuel Brewton Temple & Community Park in his home. Over the years the ministry grew by leaps and bounds and moved into its present edifice of 8000 square feet located in Moore, SC. The ministry's new home prompted a new name, The Harvest House Ministries. The changing of the church's name catapulted the church into a futuristic multi-talented ministry that ardently promotes leadership, fellowship, family morals and ethics.

During Harvest House's years of existence, Bishop Waddell's passion to touch the lives initiated the church to be a blessing to countless people. The ministry interacted with government officials such as Sheriff Bill Coffey, Mayor James Talley as well as Governors Carroll Campbell and David Beasley to focus on the diverse needs of various segments of issues and concerns in the Southside community. However Bishop Waddell's greatest desire has always and remains to be soul winning for the Kingdom of God. In addition to his preaching and teaching in various states, he has also traveled to Africa and Guatemala and was instrumental in part with other teams of Pastors in converting thousands of souls to the Lord. He has traveled to Israel and met with key leaders concerning various concerns within their country.

Bishop Waddell, determined to make his life worthy of his calling, accepted the next level of his purpose in Ministry as a Bishop in 2009. The following year, he founded and organized Pastor's Impact Covenant Ministry to assist other pastors in understanding and victoriously meeting the challenges of Ministry. In 2011, he received his Honorary Doctors of Humane Letters from Breakthrough Bible College for the illustrious works he has accomplished in Ministry.

Bishop Dr. Jimmy Waddell is a man driven with the heart of God. He is a great leader, phenomenal preacher and an inspiring teacher whose works clearly speaks his life's story. He balances his ministry life with his role as a dedicated husband to his wife, Carolyn and a proud father to his children, Christian, Janessa and Jocelyn.
